Amish Sand Tarts Recipe

Copy. Amish Sand Tarts - Cut out cookies 2 cup shortening 4 cup sugar 6 eggs 2 tsp. salt 4 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract 7-8 cups flour 3/4 tsp. cinnamon Combine all ingredients and mix well. Leave slightly sticky to the touch. Let stand 1 hour at room temperature. Roll out (to approx 1/8" - 1/4") and cut with cookie cutters.
