Open your recipe in Promash and export it as a TEXT file format with ALL text options selected. Run the visual basic script (link provided below). I've been using Brewzor for years but the app is no longer supported and the default database doesn't download since the website is no longer existing. I'd like to keep using brewzor but I need a database for all the fermentables, hops, yeast, etc. Can anyone point me to one in xml format

Ability to export/import Beer XML: Yes. BrewPal is an app based recipe formulation software for IOS. It allows you to take your recipes with you. It syncs between all of your iCloud devices. Though somewhat limited when comparing it to the others, when it comes to an IOS app based software, BrewPal is still a nice tool to have.

The file extension “.xml” should be used for all BeerXML data files. For example, a recipe file might be named “recipes.xml”. The file extension “.xsd” will be used for all BeerXML schema definition files. Comments Comments may be embedded per the XML standard, but all comments must be ignored by importing programs.

If you download BeerSmith 1.4 from the little "BeerSmith 1.4" link at the top of our web site, you can: - Open your BeerXML file in BeerSmith 1.4. - Export your BeerXML file as a BSM file. - Import the BSM file into BeerSmith 2! That will get you there - albeit you need BeerSmith 1.4 to do the translation for you. Brad.
