In a large mixer bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. In a mixing bowl, stir together vegetable oil, milk, egg whites, sour cream and flavorings. Set aside. With the mixer running, drop a Tablespoon or two of butter into the flour mixture at a time. Keep mixing until the mixture is crumbly.
